Help Bluey Walk Comfortably Again: Support His ACL Surgery & Recovery Journey

Hi, my name is Bry, and I recently rescued a sweet 7-year-old dog named Bluey in Austin, Texas. From the moment I met him, I knew he was special. Adopting him was a big decision—one that even meant my boyfriend driving 20 hours from LA to Austin to pick him up. Due to his need for surgery, we've been unable to bring Bluey back to LA quite yet. Despite his painful limp, Bluey never whimpers or complains, even though his injury has worsened since leaving the kennel. His condition, likely an untreated ACL injury, has become more noticeable now that he’s no longer confined.

Since adopting him, I’ve been working hard to get Bluey the treatment he needs. The rescue has helped with medications, but surgery is now crucial to give him a pain-free life.

The funds raised will go towards:

Partial cost of Bluey’s ACL surgery: The rescue is covering a portion, and I’ll cover the rest. This surgery will repair his leg and alleviate his pain.

Vet checkups for recovery: Ensuring Bluey gets the best post-surgery care.

Travel costs: I need to return to California for my own medical needs due to my autoimmune condition, and we’re bringing Bluey with us to ensure his best recovery at home.
