Bob's End of Life Care
Donation protected
***UPDATE***
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our time has run out. Early this morning, Bob's aneurysm ruptured. This left him unresponsive. The family was able to be with him as he passed on.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous outpouring. Your funds will be utilized to cover the costs of his end of life care and the upcoming funeral.

Our dad, Bob Dunlap, was working when he realized he did not feel right. An ambulance ride to Westmoreland hospital and a few tests later, it was determined that he had a large aneurysm and needed a higher level of care. When transferred to Mercy ER, they discovered he also suffered a stroke which affected the use of his left side-weakening his left arm, leg, and affecting his ability to clearly speak. While in the care of the Mercy team, our family was given the prognosis: Vertebrobasilar Dolichoectasia. This is a rare and dismal prognosis which will require a neurosurgeon's care.

The critical care team's plan is to proceed with rehabilitation strategies addressing the weaknesses he now has while waiting for the availability of the surgeon. Although aware of the high risks, it is Bob's wish to go through with the surgery. It is our hope that a successful surgery could give him more time with his family.
After many years as a small business owner of Shear Magic Hair Salon, Bob will no longer be returning to the job he loved and the people he cared for for many years.
It would be a HUGE help to him and his family if you could find it in your heart to participate in supporting our family through prayer and/or donations. Any donations made will offset the extreme cost of the high level of care he is currently receiving.
We are thankful for your time, prayers, and donations as we navigate this difficult time.
