Bob Joined the Sons of the American Legion, Post 91 in 2005. He has been the Squadron Commander, and later was elected to the Detachment Executive Committee. Bob has also been Area B Vice Commander then elected as the State Detachment Commander.

Recently, unforeseen medical complications have placed Bob in a difficult financial situation. As he undergoes rehabilitation, the mounting costs have surpassed his limited income from Social Security. Despite his lifetime of service, Bob now finds himself in need of assistance.
