Help Bob Kraus's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
On Labor Day Weekend this year Bob Kraus, who many of us know as a husband, father, grandfather, son, co-worker and friend, began his fight with brain cancer. After going to the ER where a tumor was found on his right frontal lobe, he spent the next few days undergoing and recovering from brain surgery to remove the mass. Tests determined that the tumor was glioblastoma multiforme – a malignant tumor.
Luckily most of the tumor was removed during surgery, but Bob has more treatment ahead of him. He will undergo two phases of treatment: 1 phase of chemotherapy and radiation, and another phase of chemotherapy with a month rest in-between. Throughout phase 2 Bob will also be receiving a very expensive electric-field treatment.
Bob is known to us as a mentor and friend – someone we can always count on and look to when we need support or guidance. He spent many years of his career as a mason superintendent – a job he took much pride in. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, being outdoors as much as possible with his children and grandchildren, and of course, spending time with his wife, Judy.
Cancer is especially demanding on a family – not only physically and mentally, but financially as well. Through monetary support we hope to ease some of the stress that comes with a medical battle, travel, and care. We know that Bob would be there for us in our time of need, now it’s time that we show up for him. Please consider making a donation – big or small – to help the Kraus’s through this fight.
