Help Bob Lee Rebuild HIS Life After Tragic Fire

First I would like to wish a Merry Christmas to all my friends and family. Second- as most of you know my Grandpa Bob Lee who we have been fighting to keep above ground do to medical issues lost his home of more than 50 years to a fire on Monday 12/21. It was a complete loss due to complications with the wood-stove. He tried for 30 minutes to extinguish the flames to no prevail. His desire to remain independent and continue to be Bob the builder never wavered but this proved to be too much.  Throughout this tragedy the blessings and outreach to our family have been absolutely humbling and overwhelming. With the many offerings and no process to help make this seamless for those who wish to give we are putting together a GoFundMe page to help rebuild Grandpa’s life. Once we have permanent placement all household items will need replacing as well. Any leads on rentals within the deer Park or Chewelah area is at the top of the list for needs. Until permanent housing takes place items we can take will be somewhat limited. So please private message me and we can evaluate on a case by case basis. Many thanks to Dave McCombs, Sharon Crump and the Deer Lake Resort!! Grandpa is living rather comfortably, considering, in a condo at the resort. There are no words for the gratitude that comes from our family to yours for all the help right from the start. Although temporary, thanks to your generosity Grandpa now has a place to call home and gets to keep his atmosphere through the holidays. With his physical and mental health at the top of our list of concerns Kim Binder cannot go unrecognized. One of the first people I called when the house was up in flames and also one the first right by his side holding his hand and mine! She is there with grandpa everyday giving above and beyond her duties. We love you Kim- you are the backbone of our family.  The resort condo is available for grandpa until the end of February so we are working diligently with Rural Resources to find permanent housing before the then. Thank you to all those who have already given and plan to give. We understand with the holidays giving of a monetary value may be tough for some.
