Help Bob Stay in the Game with a New Hip
Donation protected
I met Bob back in 2018 at Run It Up Reno and we became friends over the years. Bob has been a well-loved member of the poker community for 22 years. He’s a tough guy who will make the right call and give a little sass with it for no extra fee. Bob is one of a kind. Bob is currently a tournament director with the World Series of Poker, the World Poker Tour and the Peppermill Poker Palooza.
Before Bob got into poker… way back 50 years ago... Bob had a high school sports accident and shattered his hip socket. A hospital visit resulted in Bob getting a new hip and getting told it would last around 10 years before he would need a new solution. Luckily that grew to 20-30-40-50 years. It was amazing how long it lasted but unfortunately, the time for a new hip has arrived and it can’t be pushed back.
It will have to be out of pocket and the surgery will be $20,000 plus $5,000 in physical therapy costs. The surgery is set for May 9th in Las Vegas prior to the World Series gearing up. No donation is too small or big. If you are unable to donate, please like and share the post.
All donations will go directly to Bob’s bank account. If we receive more donations than Bob needs to get through this, we will make that known and Bob will select an animal shelter in Las Vegas to make a donation of those funds to in honor of his recently deceased Georgia.
