Help Bob & Stephanie Boysen with Medical Expenses

Bob and Stephanie Boysen are the 2 smiling faces you see in the picture. They are two of the kindest and funniest people you would ever be blessed to know. Together they have 5 beautiful kiddos, 5 beautiful grandchildren and another grand baby on the way. Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force, worked for years on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona and up until about a week ago, he worked at District Court as an I. T. Professional. Life was normal and just moving along like it does for most of us. Bob had a very bad headache and went to Urgent Care, who sent him to St. Mary’s Hospital and that night was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital. After many many tests and an invasive surgery, that left him with the worst haircut ever, the doctors have informed Bob and Stephanie that he has 4 brain tumors that are considerable in size, and that they are Level 4 Glioblastomas. He also has several smaller tumors peppered throughout his brain and he will have radiation and chemotherapy to fight, like he always fights, it’s what he does. Bob is determined to fight this with all that he has. The doctors have been very honest and straight forward. Some of the words that the doctors have said to Bob, “Listen to me my friend, there is no worse news I could have given your family today. It’s shitty shitty news. The shittiest actually….. This is a fast aggressive type of tumor in the worst place, at the worst level and we have no cure and the treatment we offer has an extremely poor success rate….” With all that said, Bob is going to fight and maintain his positive attitude and his will to live. He continues to surprise everyone with his strength…. both mental and physical. Because he has faith in God, he’s strong in mind and body, as well as in spirit. He has an extremely loving and supporting family! After several days in ICU, Bob is now home and settled in watching golf on the sofa.
