HELP BOB & SUSAN GET BACK HOME TO VERMONT!

THREE YEARS AGO, Bob Fisher and Susan Wilson decided to move to California to help run the Ben Lomond Quaker Center. After many challenges and much soul-searching, they have made the decision to return to their home, friends and family in Vermont. Bob and Susan say, “It has been a truly dramatic and rewarding three years for us in the Santa Cruz mountains. We are so happy to have met, worked with, and befriended so many Western, Eastern, Central and International Friends!”

They plan to rent a truck and to tow their car, leaving on September 6th. But the cost of moving has really increased, and they need help! Can you chip in to help them pay moving costs? They need $12,200 by August 15th. This should cover truck and trailer rental, 292 gallons of diesel fuel, help loading and unloading, food, camping fees and a few motel rentals over a ten-day trip covering 3,800 Miles.

THE GOOD NEWS is that some dear friends have already kicked in $5,000, so they’re nearly halfway there! Equivalent to 1,607 miles. That would get them to Oklahoma City!
