Help Bobbi Get a Handicap Accessible Van
Donation protected
My name is Bobbi Schenderline. I am raising money to purchase a handicapped accessible van. Several months ago, I was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer called Angiosarcoma. They were unable to treat my cancer in Billings, Montana, where I am from. I was sent to Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. My cancer is in my lower right leg. It was discovered my cancer is, unfortunately, inoperable. I was able to receive radiation treatment, in an effort to slow the cancer down. I will need to use a wheelchair now.
I very much would like to go home to be with my family. I need a handicap accessible van to do that. I do not have the funds to purchase any of the vans I found. Fortunately, I was able to locate a garage, Willards Garage, in Billings.
Handicap accessable Vans are very expensive. I have not found anything under 10,000 so I am requesting the GoFundMe in that amount
The GiFund Me originally requested 1,500. Inwas told N yhere was a van I could buy firnthat amiut and Inwas so happy to find something so inexpensvie. Unfortunately, it turned out it was not an option. They would not let us test drive it. We felt there must be something wrong with the van and it would not be a good idea to purchase it.
We sincerely hope by sharing my story there are individuals able to assist our efforts to raise enough money to purchase a van.
I have discovered although I am very good at helping others raise money, I am not good at doing it for myself. Sharing my story is not easy for me, I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read this far. I appreciate any and all help you are able to provide.if you you are not avlr to help financially please consider sharing this GofundMe in the hope togetger we can reachvthus goal.
I will also post this same request on the PayPal and Venmo platforms, (if I can figure out how) because it was shared with me some of my friends and family would prefer to donate using those options.
I would like to thank everyone who has stood by me in this battle. Your prayers and encouragement have meant so much to me. I did not want to ask anyone for anything more, because you have already done so much for me. I have no way to express my gratitude for the kind words of encouragement and most importantly for the prayers. I know as we all pray together, God will hear us as He promised. I will get home and when I get there I hope you will all come fishing with me.
May God bless you and keep you.
May He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you.
May He turn His face toward you and give You Shalom.
