Help Bobby Hansen Overcome Brain Cancer
Donation protected
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jeff, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support for a long-time friend and colleague, Bobby Hansen, who is currently facing a challenging battle with brain cancer.
Bobby is a devoted husband, father, Marine Corps veteran, retired Greenwich Police Officer, and a respected employee of the Belle Haven Land Company. For many years, he dedicated himself to serving his community, often working the challenging midnight shift as both a police officer and security officer, always prioritizing the needs of others.
On October 8, 2024, after one of his shifts, Bobby began feeling unwell and disoriented. He was rushed to Greenwich Hospital which led to the discovery of a mass on his brain. He was transferred to Yale New Haven Hospital and further tests confirmed a diagnosis of an inoperable High-Grade Infiltrated Glioma. Since then, Bobby has undergone weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, with more intensive treatments ahead.
Throughout his life, Bobby has given so much to others—whether through his service as a Marine, his dedication as a police officer, or his role as a coach and mentor to local youth. Today, his family is facing the emotional and financial toll of this illness, as medical appointments, ongoing treatments, and expenses continue to accumulate.
As the primary provider, Bobby has always worked tirelessly to support his family. Now, they need the support of those who care for him. Any contribution—large or small—will help alleviate the burden of medical costs and allow Bobby to focus on his recovery.
If you are in a position to help, your generosity would be deeply appreciated. If not, sharing this message or keeping Bobby and his family in your thoughts and prayers would mean the world to them.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer. Your kindness will make a significant difference.
Warm regards,
Jeff
