Help Bobby 's road to recovery

As many of you are aware, our brother Bobby has had many medical challenges over the last year. What started out as a simple injury to his toe turned into 4 surgeries to heal the infections that continued to appear, one right after another. He is a type 2 diabetic, which seems to run in our family; this has been the number one challenge, along with heart disease.
While Bobby was prepping for one of his surgeries last year, they were conducting a stress test to check his heart but unfortunately he suffered a minor heart attack. With his recent tests, they found another blockage in his heart but cleared him to have his right lower leg amputated due to the lack of blood flow to his foot to help heal the infection and wound.
This is his driving leg, so he’s lost his independence to drive. That alone is a kick in the gut. Bobby has been bombarded with medical bills due to all the surgeries, doctors visits, copays, which have exceeded well over $30,000 and that’s with health insurance.
He and his wife Sue are overwhelmed not only by his medical complications but also the overwhelming bills that are piling up. Bobby hasn’t been able to work because of the ongoing surgeries and complications he has faced over the last year. He is now faced with a long recovery in rehabilitation to help him learn how to survive with 1 leg.
Once his amputated leg has healed, he will be fitted for a prosthetic leg but it’s a long, stressful process. He has many more bills that will be coming and many other financial burdens he and Sue will be facing. As you can only imagine how depressed and stressful this will be for them, we wanted to give everyone an opportunity to help them in a way that could lift a bit of the stress off their shoulders.
Many have reached out asking how they can help and helping them with the financial burden would take a significant part of that stress away.
Bobby has many more challenges he will face moving forward but if we can help them with the financial part, it can allow him to focus on healing and getting stronger each day.
We appreciate all the love, prayers and support everyone has shown and it’s not gone unnoticed!
We will continue to keep you updated on his progress.
Thank you!
