Help Bodhi Heal From Inoperable Pancreatic Cancer

Donation protected
Hello my friends,

Thank you

First thing we would like to do is say thank you all so much that have donated to our GoFundme campaign and supporting us with gifts, money, food, cleaning and all of your amazing prayers and love it’s been overwhelming. It takes it to conventional to organic groceries, herbs, supplements, medication that is not covered and so on and so on. We would not be where we are right now without it. Big huge thank you from both Lumi and I

With what is happening in our world we only have so much to give and some have none and are actual need of help and support. It’s been a huge gift for me to actually be able to ask for the help and support. “NOT MY M.O.”. To be able to accept and ask for help has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, and one of the biggest blessings, and we thank you all again for the encouragement to do so.

We also wanted to thank Daniel, Maria, & Valerie for their kind words and Daniels song. The energy and love put into the words and music was unexpected and lovely.

There have been some updates that have been needed to be put into place so you will all know what is happening with the situation of the diagnosis.

The Beginning

It’s been a long road since the first scan in Dec and “LITTLE BOOGER” (our name for the tumor) has showed himself to us. So many emotions, crying, laughing, hating, loving, hopelessness, hope, praying, sharing, and and and it just keeps going. If I could share one thing to summarize the last 4 months it would be “HUGE GIFT” I know for a lot of you, you might be saying what? Just keep the word “GIFT” in your heart always. There is always a gift in all things if we look for them. The explosion of Love that happens on a daily and even minute by minute basis has been a fire of healing and letting go, it’s been empowering for Lumi and I to live from that space daily.

Diannosis & First Treatment

The diagnosis is I have a stage one inoperable adenocarcinoma exocrine pancreatic cancer which Is in a tumor that rest on the neck of the pancreas which is also resting up against three blood vessels which makes it in operable. There are some other complications which are effecting normal western medicine treatment. Started off with a low platelet count which takes chemo off the table. They are not sure why the platelets are low. So they gave me a high dose of Steroids which was intended to raise the platelets so we could do chemo. It worked and got the platelets up enough to start a round of chemo. With the chemo came another really high dose of steroids during the chemo treatment, which then spiked the glucose level of the early onset of diabetes that was discovered as well so now having to take insulin as the pancreas is where that all comes from as well as the digestive enzymes that is needed to digest food which also spikes glucose levels and makes it feel like I’m walking on a boat. Both of them together takes all the energy from me completely. I went through Chemo and for the next two weeks felt like death had taken over my life. I lost all control of taking care of myself, could barely walk, barely get up to go to the bathroom, barely make it to my bed, blurry vision, and I have lost close to 55 pounds (over 3 months) which there is no muscle anymore which makes it very hard to navigate/move/exercise which is needed to control blood sugar as well. The side effects have been crazy to many to tell about and the two big ones are the weight and my BEARD  just fell out one day in the tub… :-( so sad!!!

After we came out of the week following chemo we reached out to a nutritional chiropractor that has been teaching cancer nutrition to doctors around the world for over 25 years and we went into a 10 day heavy metal cleanse with supplements and diet that was crazy. It took me to a another level of surrender as I could taste the metals leaving my body as it burned my throat for about the first 4 days and no energy… Lumi did everything for me save for putting food in my mouth which was a chore all within itself. The purpose of the cleanse was to clean the body and let the body do what the body already knows what to do “HEAL” and raise the platelets.  Well the cleanse is almost over and in two weeks we will have a full panel blood workup to see where we stand and I’m now weaned off the steroids and am seeing a little more control over the blood sugar. My prayer is to get a bit stronger and gain a bit of weight back.

The New Plan

Build the immune system up as much as possible with amazing nutrition, supplements and most of all Chinese Herbs from our amazing practitioner Dale Hicks. I don’t know what we would have done if not for him and his generosity, love, support, and knowledge of how the body really works and what it is really looking for in Me, not just a generalization of the diagnosis that everyone goes through. He spends time researching not only my physical condition and puts into place a formula of herbs that supports MY body, the energetic meridians, and my emotional well being. Such a “GIFT”. So the plan for now is to get the body back into a place where it can HEAL. My oncologist is really supportive in all of this. Of course as a western medicine doctor she wants to do what she knows and believes which is shrink tumor, surgery, chemo and then radiation… And none of that can even happen until platelets and immune system get’s stronger. And she is supportive on all levels of healing right now giving me all that I need from the western medicine place.

Moving on

I don’t know what life, God, the Universe, Grace has in store for me in the future we can’t know. “LIVING IS MY CHOICE” I believe in the power of the bodies own healing power and I feel as though the word living now has a different meaning to me than it did yesterday. I will live with purpose, regardless of the purpose I will do everything I do with purpose with pure intent of being an example of how this world will be in Oneness. To support those in need and to help empower them to find a purpose in their life. Please know this GIFT has been such a blessing and I encourage you in these times of transformation that we/the world is going through right now to open your heart and look for the GIFTS that are there for us all. Pull away the blanket of shut down open your heart to raw emotions, take a dive into the Tigers mouth and let Her have all of you and let the Gifts surround, guide, love, and just rest in the heart of THIS LOVE!

Dear Friends,

I'd like to tell you a little about a dear friend and humbly ask for your help.

I met Bodhi 13 years ago at a mind-body healing retreat...both of us on a path of cultivating well-being and spirituality in our respective lives. Our friendship began to evolve during the time that we worked together for the organization that changed our lives at that retreat where we first met. Over the years I have witnessed, firsthand, the opening of his proverbial heart, the softening of his soul, the evolution of his spirit into the beautiful human he is today. His life now has a central focus of giving back to those who are in need of this same healing, this same freedom, this same Love. His life work is a commitment to the well-being and support of those struggling with their own healing crisis. https://bit.ly/33nUH2y

Life has recently presented Bodhi with a diagnosis of inoperable pancreatic cancer. Inoperable.  As he and his beloved wife (and my good friend) Lumi have begun the long journey of diagnosis, treatment options, doctors and surgeons, etc. a few things are clear:

~There are a lot of complications in his case. In addition to the cancer, he also has diabetes. The meds for one is contradictory of the other which means treatment options are limited/tricky.

~Insurance helps with some of the exorbitant expenses, but the financial hit is crippling.

~There truly are so many kind, empathetic and generous people willing to help when/where/how they can.

     ~They remain hopeful.

This is a tough ask for them, Bodhi & Lumi...and here we are, asking for your help. Western medicine is not yielding viable possibilities for a course of action, much less results at this point. Consequently, much of their financial resources are going towards alternative options that are not covered under insurance. Bodhi has been on a strict clean diet including Chinese herbs, getting intermittent relief from pain by receiving weekly Reiki (energy work), and doing deep transformational process work to try and heal from, or at least shrink, the tumor so that it becomes operable. There is also the possibility of a potential procedure that "if his numbers get right" he will qualify for, but again, that insurance will not cover.

So....Can you help? Will you help? Every donation, no matter how big or small, is a huge support - more than you'll ever know. Please consider any amount and know that the ripple effect of your generosity will continue to touch and save lives.

Thank you. May the benevolence you bestow here be returned to you tenfold.

Hello and welcome to “Bodhi’s Return to Vibrant Health” Team. Thank you for being here. We are gathering to create a wave of financial support for this amazing being known as Bodhi as he embarks on a journey like never before. Bodhi is navigating a path back to wellness after a series of unusual and painful symptoms he started having a few months ago.  His official diagnosis is: Inoperable Pancreatic Cancer. Bodhi and his loving wife Lumi have been in a deep learning curve of pain management and cancer education to create the best medical strategy for Bodhi’s ultimate recovery.   Bodhi’s Return to Vibrant Health Team is a growing group of loving individuals who have come together to assist this wonderful being to get all the best treatments possible.  Thank you for considering becoming part of team Bodhi by making a donation to the Team Bodhi GoFundMe.  No amount is too small (nor too large )  As you know medical costs are astronomical today and insurance only covers a fraction of the full compliment of care and treatment that Bodhi will need to conquer this.  He has a great doctor and has created a plan that will include traditional medical treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation and then he plans to pursue this very effective and far less invasive treatment known as Issel’s integrative immunotherapy for cancer.  https://issels.com/   He starts the chemo tomorrow –March 11 so please keep him in your prayers and continue to see him as WHOLE and well as that will help him energetically too. The goal is for the chemo to shrink the cancer cells to a point where the Issel’s treatment will begin.  Avoiding the painfully invasive and dangerous ‘whipple surgery’ will allow Bodhi to make a full recovery and is the ultimate outcome for Bodhi and all of his loved ones including family, friends and clients all over the world.   Thank you so much for your support. Any donation small or large will help in so many ways…

Dear World,

I have met Bodhi and Lumi 3 years ago and they become dear to me quite quick. I can honestly say that they were like a magnet for me as their love was just filling up the air around them (as every time I met them felt the same).
Since then we had the chance to meet in person few times, but the connections became deeper in online as I live in Europe.
They are a true example for me of how you can live life in truth, integrity and love.
No matter what they've been through before they met or after, they come together in this love and truth that astonishes me.

I was thrilled to find out that Bodhi is holding beautiful seminars as all he is deserve to be shared with others.
I deeply believe that people like them should be replicated in the world for all the rest to have an idea about  love, changes of heart and actions that are possible, life in open truth and the ability to surrender to life in the most humble way.
Since I found out about Bodhi's condition/diagnosis I became part of the support group and each of his shares are a proof of this surrender to life.
I know little about fundraising but what I know is that any contribution helps in giving all of us the chance to share this life time with people like Bodhi.
And I am sure that as soon as this little booger decides to go, Bodhi will be back in holding beautiful seminars so all that are in need of emotional healing or just a kick to remember that life worth living and he will be there for every one.
One hand offers a thousand receive!

For anyone who wishes to donate nothing is to small or large and for those of you that are not in a country where GoFundMe is available you can donate to papal under [email redacted] and send as a gift.
