Help Bogart - Dog Shot by Arrow
Donation protected
My former foster dog, Bogart, needs your help! While taking his daily walk in the park near his home in Rochester NY, on Saturday, July 6th, Bogart was shot with an arrow in the torso. The news has described him as a golden retriever, but he is actually a beautiful 5 year old hound mix that Brenda and Chris adopted from New2U Rescue in 2021. His owners, Brenda and Chris rushed him to the vet and after trying to get him into three different locations, Bogart underwent extensive surgery at Green Acres Veterinary Care in Tonawanda. Fortunately, the arrow missed all of Bogart's major organs, but he is in an oxygen kennel with a broken rib and is fighting for his life. He's not eating and is surely missing his family. As you know, all of this treatment comes with a price tag, one that I am hoping we all can help them with. All contributions will go directly to Brenda and Chris for the medical bills and aftercare that sweet Bogart is going to need as a result of this horrific incident. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!
