Help Bonnie Brown during this time of need
Donation protected
Sumayah and Devonne have been asked by Bonnie Brown to assist with needed fundraising following the unexpected death of her husband Michael Rutherford. This task is too heavy to take on when you have intense grieving, processing and caring for a child who is also grieving. We are fundraising for the immediate and basic financial needs that Bonnie and Alya face. Michael was the financial support for the family and the loss of his income puts them at risk in many ways. There are also a lot of unexpected expenses with Michaels death that have not been saved for. We are also fundraising for the more long term benefit and ongoing support of Bonnie and Ayla as they navigate their way through these next few months. Bonnie stated in a post today
"Currently, my main area of need is in finances. We were doing ok, but just ok. We were not in a place where a missed paycheck could be tolerated for very long. To complicate things, all the computers and finances are password protected— of which I have none. I’m trying not to worry about all of this yet, but it will be coming up very soon. The small amount of money I have access to will dry up." Bonnie posted links to Venmo and Zelle if you want to donate on those apps as that will give her immediate access to funds. Bonnie also posted,
"Obviously, this isn’t the only way you can help,
Donating is only for those that are doing well financially and can comfortably share their wealth. I will need lots of help, I’m sure, in the coming days and months."
Bonnie and Ayla are forever grateful for any and all generosity.
