Help Bonnie Get the Surgery She Needs

Hi, my name is Josh Ohara and I am fundraising on behalf of my girlfriend's family dog, a black lab named Bonnie. Bonnie is 5 years old & has been an extremely big part of the Dickerson family, along with her chocolate lab brother, Clyde. Sadly, Bonnie was diagnosed with a splenic tumor this past Thursday (July 15) which are extremely dangerous, unpredictable, and can unfortunately rupture at any time. Therefore, the surgery is extremely vital for Bonnie's survival and the saving of her life. My girlfriend (Sara) and her family recently were exploring potential options for the surgery to be completed, but the most viable option (which was the UC Davis Community Program) declined services due to the surgery not being "student appropriate". It was at this point that I thought that I'd reach out to the community in an effort to try and help the Dickerson family in this tough and unfortunate situation. I know how much Bonnie means to her and her family, so if any of you are willing to help Bonnie have a better chance of getting her life-saving surgery & continue provide the everlasting love and happiness to the Dickerson family along with anyone else she meets, it would truly be greatly appreciated. The Dickerson family was quoted by multiple hospitals (including Marqueen, VCA Loomis, Sacramento Surgical Hospital, and Vista Veterinary Specialists) that the needed surgery would cost anywhere between $7,000-$10,000 (this includes pre-anesthetic blood work, splenectomy, hospitalization, blood pressure monitoring, and various medications) and would be needed to be done as soon as possible. A dog can become your best friend, therapist, and the one thing in your life that will love you unconditionally no matter what. Bonnie means all of the above and more to the Dickerson family and it would mean the world to them if she can continue to live the happy life she deserves to live.
