Help Bonnie Jo and Joey Rebuild

Hey friends, my dear friend needs our help. Bonnie Jo has lost her home and everything in it that she could have sold. Her son is down south in a psychiatric hospital after suffering sexual abuse during 2022 by his bus driver, then lost his friend to a car accident on February 1, and his father committed suicide on Feb 27. Now her ex has her wrapped up in legal BS that won’t allow her to gain access to her property, her belongings, or even her son's dog.

Bonnie Jo lives in her camper full-time now to be near her son, and she had to close down her business last year to focus on her son. She’s been through so much loss, trauma, suicides, and grief that she’s not fit to hold a job at this time. Her goal is to make it in her camper to warmer weather and start the healing/growing/gypsy life that she deserves so much!!

Bonnie Jo won’t ask for the help so I’m asking. She already did a GoFundMe for her ex-boyfriend last year when he had a bad facial accident. That fundraiser last year was to supplement her ex’s lost income to make it through winter. She only got half and it all went to rent in a house she doesn’t live in anymore.

Bonnie Jo is incredibly stressed, stretched, trying her best, she’s overwhelmed, she can’t eat, she’s nauseous and doesn’t have an appetite so she’s lost 30 pounds and has to buy everything she already owns TWICE. Again. Like heating pads, a coffee pot, and a printer, etc., due to the legal issues with her home.

The money that is raised will go to helping Bonnie Jo get her truck and trailer all fixed up and road safe, maybe even winterized, and also to help her make ends meet while she tries to recover and hopefully takes some quality time for herself. She’ll be coming home to California for Christmas and hopes to bring her son, so we’ll get to see her then!!

Bonnie was an AMAZING crisis counselor, a great coworker, an awesome friend, and she’s the hardest working, hardest fighting single mom I know. She has a master’s degree in psychology and built a successful business in 4 years from nothing. She definitely tries and tries.

Let’s give this girl a leg up in life and help her find her way out of the dark and back home!! She needs sunshine!! ☀️
