Help Bony War Pony Bring Navajo Stories to Life

Ya'ah'teeh! We are Bony War Pony Productions and this summer we are making a Film!

We are partaking in the 2024 Navajo Film Festival and have been working diligently to finish our entry. We are hoping to cover costs for travel, compensation and other equipment. We received the Navajo Film Grant that was graciously given to us by the Navajo Film Office.

Our mission is to bring forth Navajo storytelling to the big screen. This project has been long awaited and we do not want to squander the moment. We want to bring you a unique short film and what we believe to be groundbreaking for our little production team.

Our film is about two young sheep herders who come across an injured patron who is on the run from a robbery gone wrong. Their adventures include western shoot-outs, betrayal and Spanish treasures.

We had originally crowdfunded years ago for our first feature-length film. Unfortunately, our project came to an abrupt stop because of technical difficulties. The funding raised propelled us to create more content and helped us get better equipment.

With your support, we will finish our film and plan for further content that will open the world to our storytelling abilities.
