Help Boone Heaps Battle Leukemia

Donation protected
The Heaps family got some heavy news that their 14-year old son Boone was diagnosed with Leukemia this week and he and his family are in need of prayers and support.

The Heaps family has been a fixture of Murphey Candler park in Brookhaven, serving on both the Football and Baseball sides in several capacities. Boone is an outstanding kid and 2023 recipient of the ACYA Chip Kovitch award as an exemplary model of sportsmanship, toughness and football skill. He's a rising Freshman at Chamblee High School planning to play football, baseball and excel in his academics.

Boone has a long road ahead of him, and we know he will tackle it with the grit and toughness he displayed on the football and baseball fields. Boone will be in the hospital for the next month while he receives aggressive chemotherapy and then outpatient treatments as well. As you can imagine, his treatment, which will last several years, will come with a significant medical cost. He will need other support while he misses some school as well during this time.

We'd like to show Brook and Nicole Heaps the power of this community by asking you to help in any way possible toward a GoFundMe campaign to assist them with Boone's medical treatments and associated costs. Please share with your friends and others in the community to help this family.
