Help Boquete’s Workers survive the quarantine
Do you love our little town of Boquete?
Would you like to help our Mayor during this crisis?
Buy a Virtual bag of world famous Boquete Coffee!
A Virtual Bag costs just $20 (though any amount is welcome!)
Our businesses are almost entirely shut down, putting many of our people out of work. No buses are running, so even those who still have jobs cannot get to work.
We are quarantined in our homes except for 2 hours, 3 times a week, for essential shopping.
Our Mayor is doing a fantastic job, working tirelessly to bring food, cleaning supplies, and medicines, to the very poor people in our pueblo.
These are the working folks who have lost their jobs, the indigenous living on coffee farms locked down with no way to buy food, elderly people who depend on the small monthly pension, but now cannot leave their homes.
Our local people are contributing what they can. A truckload of bananas, or a can of sardines. But the town needs some help.
If you can spare the cost of a bag of coffee, our Mayor can buy, at wholesale, more bags of food staples (rice, beans, cooking oil, etc).
The Mayor and volunteers are distributing these donations every day.
Thank you Extranjeros for thinking of us, here in Beautiful Boquete
We hope to see you back here soon!
