Help Bowie Raise Money For His Cancer Treatment

Recently, Bowie was visiting friends in Eugene when he decided to visit the hospital after he had been coughing up blood. During the visit, Bowie was diagnosed with “very advanced” stage 3 testicular cancer (there are only three stages for this type) after they found a huge (16cm x 16cm x 13cm) tumor in his chest. Tumors were also found in his liver, but a biopsy revealed it was testicular cancer. The situation was so dire that he was admitted to the hospital immediately and put on chemotherapy the next day as it was not safe to travel anywhere. Bowie has been hospitalized for a week in Oregon for observation and for chemo and has recently moved back to Colorado to stay with his family.

Bowie recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a Spatial Data Science and Technology major this past June and since then has moved on to become a recruiter for Insight Global in San Francisco, CA. He is from San Jose, CA, and is a huge supporter of both the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers. While he loves the Bay Area, he is a diehard Arsenal Football fan and will watch any game even if it is at 4 am in the morning in the U.S.  Bowie is truly one of the nicest and most positive human beings that anyone could ever meet. When he was first diagnosed he still kept his spirits high and told everyone to not feel sorry for him but rather to stay positive. When Bowie was a Brother in Chi Psi for two years he was our Community Service Chair and constantly pushed for us to be more and more involved with helping out around our community. He is always there to support anyone who needs it and it's high time we show some support back. This diagnosis has affected him not only physically but financially as well, so please consider donating to help lessen some of the financial burden that has befallen Bowie.
