Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friends, Brad and Alex, who have just welcomed their beautiful baby, Harper Brave, into the world. While this should be a time filled with joy and celebration, they are facing unexpected challenges that have made this journey incredibly difficult.

For last 13 months Alex experienced significant health complications that have required extensive medical attention. These challenges have not only been physically and emotionally taxing but have also created financial strain on their growing family. To provide the support Alex, Maggie and Harper need during this critical time, Brad has made the difficult decision to take leave without pay from his teaching position for the remainder of the term."

However, this choice, though necessary, means a loss of income at a time when the family’s expenses are higher than ever. The costs of medical care, baby essentials, and everyday living are adding up quickly, and they need our help to get through this.
