Help Brad & Julie with Asher's Medical Bills

Hi everyone, thanks so much for taking the time to read this! My name is Aleeah, I’m one of Brad & Julie’s close friends.

On October 13th, they welcomed their baby boy Asher into the world. Shortly after delivery, he was having a rough time & was airlifted from Banner Del Webb to Banner Thunderbird NICU. It was suspected Asher was having seizures after birth, & it was later confirmed by the neurologist at Thunderbird NICU. They quickly started cooling therapy & gave him anti-seizure medication in order to help his brain rest & heal. The cooling therapy lasted 72 hours, & after it was finished, they brought his temperature back up. After the rewarming process was over & Asher was continuously monitored to make sure there was no more seizure activity while on anti-seizure meds, he was stable enough to go for an MRI.

Unfortunately, the MRI showed damage to multiple parts of Asher’s brain due to lack of oxygen during delivery. We’re not totally sure how this is going to affect him; it will all depend on him & how he does hitting different milestones during his first year. Moving forward, there will be lots of physical & occupational therapy sessions in his future.

All money would be going to the Kabel family to help with medical bills for Asher. My goal here is to help alleviate some of the stress in Brad & Julie’s life, so they are able to focus on Asher & being great parents to him. If you feel led to donate, that would be so appreciated!
