Help Brad & Natalie After the Loss of Baby Jonathan
Donation protected
Brad and Natalie were overjoyed to learn they were expecting their fourth child—naturally and without medical assistance—for the first time. This baby boy would be the final piece of their beautiful family. Courtney and Charlotte, his older sisters, along with David, who was excited to become a big brother, eagerly awaited baby Jonathan’s arrival.
On April 3rd, at 32 weeks, Natalie was admitted to the hospital with dangerously high blood pressure caused by preeclampsia. For her safety and that of baby Jonathan, doctors advised that she remain in hospital bed rest until delivery.
Tragically, just one week later, on April 11th, Natalie suffered a full placental abruption.
Despite the medical team’s swift and tireless efforts, baby Jonathan was delivered stillborn via emergency C-section. Natalie endured significant blood loss, but we are profoundly grateful she was already in the hospital when it occurred. She received six blood transfusions and, thankfully, is expected to make a full physical recovery.
Brad and Natalie were able to spend a few precious days with Jonathan—holding him, feeling his peace, and treasuring the fleeting but sacred time they had with their son. Their hearts are shattered by the loss of his life, taken far too soon.
Many have asked how they can support this young family as they navigate this heartbreaking and life-altering time. This fundraiser has been created to help with medical bills, funeral costs, and day-to-day living expenses as they grieve and slowly begin to adjust to a new reality.
We are heartbroken, but hold tightly to the knowledge that they will one day be reunited with sweet Jonathan.
Brad has been like a brother to me for over 30 years, and I am deeply humbled and honored that their eternally perfect son bears my namesake.
Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your generosity.
