Show the Love for Bradley

Just before Christmas, Bradley Nielsen underwent hip replacement surgery that resulted in significant unforeseen complications. These complications resulted from a rod that had been placed in his femur after experiencing a severely broken leg and hip 20 years ago. At one point in this recent set of surgeries, there was concern he might lose his foot due to extreme swelling and lack of circulation. Doctors were able to find circulation, clean out massive hematomas and infection, along with extraction of the rod. As a result, what was thought to be a 4 week recovery will now take months.

Bradley operates Nielsen Construction, a heavy machinery, dirt moving company. He is onsite all day every day and is integral and necessary to business operations.  This surgery and resulting recovery time creates significant challenges to his family and employees. 

It has been 6 weeks since the initial surgery, Bradley is still on crutches and will be for quite some time. He will not be able to get back on a machine and work for a long while. We are trying to alleviate some stress by raising funds for the Nielsen family. Bradley has given of himself to this and neighboring communities his entire life. While he would never ask for help himself, we as friends now have a chance return the favor.
