Help Brady get braces!!

Brady is a 16 year old honors student in Alabama. He plays varsity soccer, loves all things sports, and is a governerd! His father has been absent from his life since he was 5 years old and does not help financially. He is the sweetest kid who knows and appreciates how hard his momma, Brittany, works to give him the best life. There’s just one thing… he is very insecure about his teeth. You will hardly ever see a full smile because of this insecurity.

Brady and Brittany had an initial orthodontic consultation today because his mom thought maybe Medicaid would cover it. They were told that although Brady has a severe overbite and crowding, Alabama’s Medicaid would only cover orthodontia for facial deformities. If they lived just across the state line in Georgia, Brady’s teeth would be considered severe enough for Medicaid. Brittany does qualify for a no interest payment plan of $168/month, but unfortunately even that is out of the budget.

Upon finding his mom crying in her room after the appointment, Brady told her he’d “rather be able to eat taco shells and you not be stressed” than to have straight teeth.

Any help in reaching our goal to get Brady braces would be greatly appreciated! This young man has a bright future, and the world deserves to see his smile!
