Help Brandi Babin & her children replace her car
Donation protected

The unexpected has happened at a most inopportune time.
Wednesday afternoon, Brandi was driving in Fort Collins and while at a stoplight, the car next to her was struck from behind by a drunk/high driver. Brandi got out to make sure the lady that was hit was ok.
As she was tending to her, the guy stole her car and left the scene. He not only stole or sold most of her possessions in the car, he wrecked and totaled the car while running from the police. The insurance will hopefully cover the items inside the car that were stolen, but it won’t be sufficient to cover a comparable replacement vehicle.
While she has comprehensive coverage, her divorce left her in a position to take a personal loan out to pay for lawyers and evaluators fees using the car as collateral. Because of this, she will only have $7,000-9,000 to buy a car that is reliable, and big enough to fit her family of 5. Unfortunately her credit score is shot from trying to replace clothing, furniture and toys after the divorce since their dad got to keep it all, so she cannot get a new loan for another car. Paying cash is her only option.
She would need a 6 seater since none of her children are old enough to sit in the front seat safely.
She needs a personal vehicle to maintain her sales job as well, so it must be reliable and in good shape, preferably with good gas mileage.
Replacing a 2017 Buick Enclave with $9,000 will be impossible to say the least.
She was considering finding an old Toyota or Honda with a third row, but many of you have suggested a fundraiser to get her family as close to normal as possible. Finding a quality car like her Buick Enclave, which had brand new Michelin tires on it (She just bought them three weeks ago), and similar age, would be amazing for her family.
Thank you so much to everyone who convinced her to ask for help. It’s not easy to admit that you need it, and she’s humbled to have so much support. Thank you so much!
If you can’t give, prayers are just as powerful and equally appreciated!
