Update: September 28th
I feel like there have been comments on social media regarding this Go-fund me, the Waterloo store and Brandi that have been made because of deep grief and emotional pain or just misinformation and assumptions. I can’t speak to each one’s emotional pain and grief as that is very individual…but I can speak as to why my friends and I started this.
Since early spring…we have been discussing ideas …possibly some kind of fundraiser…that would help Brandi with keeping the store open and available for the people of Waterloo and surrounding area that rely on the store…but our work and family schedules during the summer were crazy and we haven’t had the time to do anything…however, we WERE in the first stages of planning something for fall.
There were several things over the past year…health issues, injury, appliance breakdowns/expense, the economy, availability of work force, etc that had Brandi basically chasing her tale and trying to stay above water…Stephen helped her a lot! He would run the store when she had to work…put in flooring…cleaned and repaired…he was her teammate…they worked together to keep things running …
It’s was tough BEFORE Stephen’s passing and now it’s REALLY impossible to do by herself. The goal for this go fund me is to see if we could raise funds to “save the Waterloo store” because she loves the store and so she would have an income again…
This is not an emotional play on a tragedy…it is an attempt to help a friend get things going…
Brandi has been a generous, caring, hardworking friend to us…always available to help and go beyond what is asked of her…
We want to …in return …be that kind of friend to her. It’s been a crazy couple years for her…
We SIMPLY want to help our friend and we can’t do it alone!
Blessings,

❤️Help Brandi Rose-Libra Rebuild After Tragedy❤️
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Community,
We are reaching out during a time of profound grief and need. Our dear friend, Brandi Rose, recently faced an unimaginable loss with the tragic passing of her partner, Steven J Tyman, in a car accident last Wednesday night. As she navigates this heartbreaking time, we want to come together as a community to support her.
Brandi is not just a friend; she is a dedicated business owner who has poured her heart and soul into her store in Waterloo. However, complications with the stores, refrigeration issues, and now the recent tragedy has left her in a difficult position, struggling to keep her business afloat while coping with her loss. To help her get back on her feet, we aim to raise funds to cover essential expenses.
Here’s what we hope to achieve:
1. **Power Restoration**: We need **$5,000** to get the power back on at her store, which is crucial for her business to operate.
2. **Back Payments**: An additional **$4,000** is needed to catch up on overdue payments that have accumulated during this difficult time.
3. **Refrigeration System Repair**: The refrigeration system, vital for her store's operations, also requires repairs costing over **$20,000**.
In total, we are seeking to raise **$40,000** to help Brandy regain stability as she processes her grief and begins to rebuild her life. Every dollar counts, and your support means the world to her.
Please consider donating, sharing this campaign, or sending a message of love and encouragement. Let's show Brandi that she is not alone in this journey and that her community stands behind her.
Thank you for your kindness and support during this challenging time.
