Help Brandon and Rob Build BRNZ'D Tanning & Light Spa

Hello, friends!

I’ve always been someone who’s hesitant to ask for help, and I know many of us feel that way. But today, I’m swallowing my pride and reaching out because I would truly appreciate your support.

As many of you know, we’ve spent the past 12 years managing at Desert Sun Tanning, and over that time, developed such a deep love for the industry, clients, and the community we’ve built together. So, we took a huge leap and decided to re-open in the preexisting space, with the new name BRNZ'D Tanning & Light Spa!

However, just three weeks ago, things took an unexpected turn. The business loan of $175,000 fell through, and we were left questioning everything. For a while, thought maybe this dream wasn’t meant to be, but sometimes life has a way of working out in mysterious ways. With the support of our loyal clients and a bit of luck, we’re opening BRNZ’D Tanning & Light Spa!!

That’s where we need your help.

As excited as we are to bring this vision to life, opening a business comes with significant costs, and while we have the heart and the hustle, we currently don’t have the funds to cover everything needed to make this space welcoming, fully functional, and ready for business.

This is why we’re turning to you—our friends, family, and community—for support. Every little bit helps, and we are truly grateful for anything you can contribute. Your donations will go toward:

POS system & software setup

Payment processing equipment

New marketing materials and rebranding (inside and outside the salon)

Furnishing each wellness room (including towels, linens, rugs, mirrors, shelves, and more)

New paint and resources needed for refurbishing

Initial product order for the salon

Cleaning supplies and appliances (vacuum, washer and dryer)

Everything else needed to create a clean, welcoming, and professional space!

Alongside this new venture, I’m finishing up my senior year at the University of Washington, pursuing my Molecular/Cellular Biology degree. I know I’m juggling a lot, but I’m beyond excited to bring this dream to fruition, and with your support, I know I can make this new chapter a success.
