Brandon & Hannah Build an Accessible Community
Hi! My name is Hannah and my husband Brandon and I run a 501c3 nonprofit, Growing Inclusivity. We have big dreams to make the world more inclusive and accessible. Growing up as a disabled kid rarely did I see anyone that looked like me, and I don't want other kids, or disabled adults, to grow up and feel that way too. People with disabilities deserve to be everywhere able-bodied people are and we are here to change that. The plan of Growing Inclusivity is to buy land in Powhatan Virignia and build an accessible playground and community garden. The real showstoppers of our property will be: a fenced in accessible playground for kids and adults of all abilities, a community garden where we donate all the proceeds to local food banks!
We will also have a large outdoor patio with tables and chairs, hopefully a space for outdoor movies, and lawn games like cornhole and croquet! We really want to make this a community hub, where people can work, meet up, and play together. There is nothing like this in our area and we can't wait to bring our dreams to life!
We have found the land and now need your help to purchase it! This is obviously just the first step but with the perfect land we know our dreams will come true! Thank you for all your support!
