Help Brandon Munchbach Get Essential Medication

Hi, my name is Brandon Munchbach, and I’m reaching out for help as I navigate a tough situation. In 2017, I suffered ventricular fibrillation (cardiac arrest), and just barely survived. Two young men from Jersey Mike’s did chest compressions on me for 20 minutes and unequivocally saved my life. I owe them everything. I’m currently waiting on my disability claim to be approved. In the meantime, I urgently need to fill my prescriptions and attend several doctor (cardio, psychiatrist, GP) appointments, but I’m short on funds to cover the expenses.

I had the heart issue at work, and it ended up weakening my heart because it wasn’t pumping for over 5 minutes. I avoided brain damage, but my heart is much weaker now. I love to go for walks, but when I exert myself, I feel nauseous and get dizzy and cold sweats etc. I have tried working, but it is miserable (and dangerous) to work in my field (pool filter and pump tech). So, my long term goal is to learn and grow skills that will allow me to work from home. Proofreading, editing, writing. Once the disability claim is approved (and the lawyer who took the case is very confident it will be…eventually), I will be in good shape — but getting to that date will be difficult. I think I might be able to scratch out a bit of money freelancing after a couple months of practice. I really do believe I’m capable when I put the effort in. And my expenses are very low (although I’ll be in medical debt until I’m done with my next life). I’m a minimalist. I’m 38 tomorrow, it’s time to hone some new skills, anyway.

I’m asking for any support you can offer to help me raise $120. This will ensure I can get the medication and medical attention I need this month to manage my condition while my disability claim is being processed. I just need a bit of a boost at the moment so I can knock out all these appointments and stock my medication for 3 months. With tomorrow being my birthday (October 15th), it would be the greatest gift to have this burden lifted.
