Help Brandon Overcome His Medical Debt
Donation protected
Greetings! My name is Brandon and I really need help if you have the means and the desire. I had been on Medicaid until Nov this last year. I got stuck in a weird financial place. I made too much for Medicaid now, but not enough to afford the individual insurance plans because I was married so it was adding our incomes together, but also, she was in the process of divorcing me for another man. And, of course, life happened such that in December I had to go to the hospital for ONE day. And the ambulance was over $3,000 and the total for the hospital was over $8000!
Being a man of integrity, I have been paying these monthly bills, but it is now grown even harder to do so. My divorce finally went through in May, so I now have personal insurance (which was much lower using only my measly income). But, now, adding the new bill of insurance to my budget and without my (now ex) wife's income and living in the Salt Lake Valley (it is VERY expensive), I am struggling, terribly struggling, just to survive. I had tried to get the hospital to give me financial aid and was denied. Please, I am really going through the hardest time in my life (I loved my wife deeply) and I am at my wits end. I do not actually have more time in a day to work more than I already put in, so I cannot find ways of making more money. I do not even own any kind of collectibles or anything worth any money to sell. This is my best and last hope. YOU are my last and best hope. Please, if you can spare some money, I could really, truly use the help.
Thank you, sincerely for considering to help a guy down on his luck and in his heart! Literally ALL donations will be put right onto these two bills, which I will attach. The hospital bill left unpaid as of writing this is 7,916.34 and the Ambulance Bill is 2,823.08. So, my total bill is 10,739.42. I am definitely not a fan of our current U.S. healthcare System, and I hope someday it gets totally overhauled so that no one ever has to come to GoFundMe for help like this anymore!
