Help Brayden House Serve More Families
The Brayden House is seeking donations for a restructure and makeover of the house. We are expanding and have plans to make the house accommodate more families! We look to add new beds, remodel the kitchen, and add a great outdoor space for guests as well. Along with these plans, we would like to do a kitchen remodel to be sure it can handle the added guests.
The Brayden House exists to provide housing and meals for displaced parents of babies in the NICU units at DCH here in Tuscaloosa and Northport, free of charge. We want to serve these parents with shelter, warm meals, spiritual support, and most of all, love!
Who was Brayden?
Brayden Lynn Giambalvo was born on February 8, 2008. Arriving 8 weeks premature, Brayden spent 26 days in the NICU before passing due to Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC). Since then, those involved with starting the Brayden House have been avid supporters of the March of Dimes and have raised thousands of dollars for the research of premature babies. The Brayden House is the next step in their journey.
