Help Brayden Suhr Get a New Service Dog

Hello Everyone,

My name is Brayden Suhr. I was born in 1994 with Cerebral Palsy, which impacted my leg strength. I struggle with walking and standing for long periods of time, and I need my forearm crutches at all times when walking as my legs will not hold me up without them. After high school, I got involved with services, and my team assisted me with getting my first service dog. When I got Honey, she would assist me in getting up if I would fall, she was also trained to alert others if I was injured and was an amazing support for me in the last 6.5 years. Honey came to me though Cares Inc. out of Concordia, KS when she was about 3.5 years old. I sadly had to put her sleep about 6 weeks ago due to heath issues that was impacting her quality of life. Honey was a little over 10 years old.

When looking into getting another service dog that could assist me in the same manner that Honey was able to do, I contacted Cares Inc. They approved me to get another dog. However, the price has gone up over the last 6 years, and the cost of the new dog is going to be $7,000. I am trying to raise $8,000 to ensure I can have enough for the hotel, food, and gas for the week for whoever is able to take me for a week, as well as myself. We will have to spend a week in Concordia, KS for the training with the new dog before being able to take the dog home. Please help me raise money so I'm able to get a new service dog to assist me.
