Help Break The Cycle of Homelessness
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Richard Lubbers. Recently I met a man. His name is Willie J. Watt, Jr., and he has been working tirelessly to help eradicate homelessness in our town of Holland, Michigan. His ministry is called LifeLine Ministries No. 2. You can find that organization on Facebook.
The other day, Willie reached out to me. He is in urgent need of raising several thousands of dollars to provide shelter for homeless mothers with small children. They should not be living on the streets, but they are.
Several years ago, I was sitting by my fireplace on a very cold winter night, and it pained me to think of the people trying to stay warm. Last winter, a man froze to death in his tent in our city.
Willie has been working for years, building small portable buildings, like tiny houses, to shelter the homeless. He has several of these units already built, and is working towards finding a location where they can be installed. His dream is to have a location that offers showers and restroom facilities, medical services, and other social programs to help the homeless break this heartbreaking cycle in their lives.
We may not be able to eradicate homelessness completely, but we can help to make a big difference in the lives of some of the people in our community, and possibly save a life.
Many hands, and hearts, make a difference. I hope you will consider my plea.
Thank you, in advance, for anything you can do.
