Help Brenda get her independence back!!

Hi, my name is Brenda! I am a paraplegic from an injury 17 years ago. Until last year, I was blessed enough to have a wheelchair-accessible van that lasted me for 14 years and took me all over the country. They are out of my price range though, so I've decided to try to get some help. For the most part, I'm trapped in my apartment and can't just up and go when I want to, like I used to. I have to rely on unreliable medical transportation or a Centro bus that has limited hours and areas they will bring me to, and there are no taxis or Ubers for people in wheelchairs.

With my own vehicle, I'd be able to get my grandkids around (they are 6 and 4 and live with me), go to the store, to appointments, or visit family and friends whenever I need or want to. I would be able to get a job again!! It would open my world back up so I can truly get my life back on top of being able to take these two little boys to not only where they need to go, but places to make memories with them.

I know that they have a variety of styles of vehicles out now. Brand new they cost twice as much as what I am seeking but can get a nice, used one for that price. Can you please help me with that? Even if it's only $5, every cent adds up! If you can't donate, that's ok, you can still help simply by sharing my story.
