Help Brenda & Steve Schmidt with medical bills.

Hello, we are the family and friends of Brenda and Steve Schmidt.

A little over a year ago, Brenda started having stomach issues that would randomly come and go. It eventually got bad enough she started doctoring. When they began, they thought it was food allergies, so after many dietary changes, they decided to run a few other tests. The doctors finally had an answer. It was uterine cancer. Doctors told her a hysterectomy and chemo would be required. Not having insurance, they make payments for surgery and treatments. And like that isn't enough, Steve was recently diagnosed with diabetes. He had a spot on his arm that progressively worsened, and before they could treat the cellulitis in his elbow, they had to get his diabetes under control. So after a week's vacation in the hospital (sarcasm!) They now have the expense of insulin, which is currently not covered under insurance.

So with the monies donated, we hope to alleviate some of the financial burdens due to the recent medical bills.
