Help Brenna's 30th Birthday wish come true!

Asheville and WNC have always held a special place in my heart. These areas are still recovering from the devastation Hurricane Helene caused. With it being a milestone birthday for me (30), I wanted to do something to start the next decade off big. I spent a lot of my 20s running away to the mountains when life was just too much. Screaming from the top of a mountain does wonders for you. Trust me, you should try it. Chasing waterfalls on a hot summer day and enjoying the beauty and charm of small mountain towns are some of my fondest memories. I feel I owe it to these communities to help in a small way since they've helped heal parts of me.

I stumbled upon BeLoved when researching. This organization has been around since 2009 with their mission "to create a transformational way of life rooted in community and working to create Home, Health, Equity, and Opportunity for all in our mountain home." The work they've done in the last 15 years for these communities is tremendous. I spoke with an organizer about the greatest needs. Currently, these communities need power tools, propane, gift cards, food, cleaning supplies, and overall funds for home repairs.

My hope and birthday wish is that I can help these communities at this time. Which is where you all come in. I'm asking friends and family to donate at least $30 or what you would spend on me for my birthday to this fundraiser this year. All funds received will be donated to BeLoved .
