Help Brennen Hike

Brennen is 4 years old with a love for outdoors. Brennen was born at 25 weeks weighing only 1 LB 7 Oz. Brennen has a list of diagnosis such as Cerebral Palsy, Dysphagia, failure to thrive, severe gastroparesis, and chronic lung disease. Brennen is on a feeding tube 16 hour's a day to continue to grow appropriately. Brennen wear's AFO braces on his legs, uses a gait trainer walker for very short distance's and has a wheelchair for longer distances. Insurance has provided Brennen with his walker and wheelchair however they do not cover most other adaptive equipment that would improve his quality of life and allow him to be inclusive in activities he wouldn't be able to otherwise. We live in Colorado and as many know this state is full of trails in the mountain's that we often like to go hiking with his sister's. Brennen outgrew his backpack carrier two years ago and that has prevented us on going on many of the adventures his sibling's take. We want Brennen to enjoy the beautiful nature adventures and hiking with the rest of the family. I as Brennen's mother have used what fund's I had to purchase a variety of equipment he uses for daily therapies inside our home. We are kindly asking if our family and friends would consider donating towards this. I will post the link to what it is we are trying to get. It is called the Huckleberry's Accessibility Cart or Cascade Cart. If pre-ordered now the cart is $1,800. If ordered once it launches March 12th the cost of it goes up to $3,000. Anything over our goal for the Cascade cart will be used for other adaptive needs that insurance doesn’t cover such as an adaptive bicycle as well as helping another special needs family get an adaptive Cascade Cart or meet another adaptive need of their preference.
