Help Brent get mobile again

I'm fundraising for my brother, Brent Jensen, who was in a campfire accident in June. He received severe burns to his legs and has had one leg amputated above the knee, while the other one is still receiving ongoing surgeries for its fourth-degree burns. He will remain in hospital for a few more months, getting more surgeries and treatment for his extensive burns and then continue with rehabilitation for his mobility. It is a long and difficult process, and we are very grateful for the prayers and support we have received along the way. There's still a lot of work Brent needs to do to be able to get back to doing the things he loves, including teaching and playing sport, along with living back at home again.

People have expressed a desire to help contribute towards the costs of Brent's recovery, prompting us to set up this GoFundMe page. The funds would relieve some of the financial pressures involved with Brent's new, expensive mobility needs at both home and work. This includes his ongoing treatments, prosthetics, wheelchairs and car and house alterations. While NDIS assists with some of these expenses, there are many things that will not be covered. It would also help Brent concentrate more on his rehabilitation.

Brent has shown tremendous courage, strength and determination with his recovery so far, and this will help him in the next phase of his journey. We are grateful of any support, donations and prayers that will help get Brent mobile again and back to doing the things he loves on the Sunshine Coast.
