In honour of Amanda Green,
As many of you know we lost Amanda this past Saturday October 31st, leaving behind her daughter Breonna, sister Ashley and her father.
She was a huge advocate in our community. She had such a unique way of making you feel like whatever you were going through wasn't so bad, and you were going to be okay. She was warm, loving, kind and generous. She would give you her last dollar if it meant you would be okay. She would feed you before she fed herself. She helped others before helping herself.
She instilled hope in others. She was so good at it she made it her job, her duty. She went to work everyday no matter how she felt. She had her own demons she was dealing with but she always put it aside to help others.
She was a devoted and loving mother. She was a sister and a daughter. She was an amazing colleague, and she was the most amazing friend. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, coworkers, community members and her clients.
In loving memory for Amanda, we are setting up a fund for her daughter Breonna. All funds raised will be held in trust for Breonna by Amanda's sister Ashley.
Amanda was one of my closest friends and I will never forget her. I want to say thank you to everyone who is willing to support and for all your kind messages and prayers. I'm hoping with this fund we can continue to create a bright future for Breonna, and support her through this difficult time.
Amanda worked tirelessly to give Bre the life that she deserved. Let's keep that going!
