Help Brian McPherson After Fire

Donation protected
We have been friends and colleagues with Altadena based music attorney Brian McPherson for many years. He's always been one to support artists no matter the level, is the kind of music fan who's often out at shows many times a week and generously offers advice to those who need it.

On January 6, he and his wife Lisa, and their dog Edna lost their home and everything but the clothes they were wearing, to the Eaton wildfire. Brian, Lisa, and Edna are safe and have decamped to Claremont where they are staying with Brian’s sisters.

Brian also lost his office which housed his stereo system, his files, his computers, servers, office equipment, and the vast vinyl collection he collected over 45 years.

Brian, Lisa, and Edna are ok – but Brian’s office and record collection were not covered. He is in the process of leasing a new office and buying new equipment to get back on his feet and back to work.

To be clear: He is ok. Records are just stuff. Equipment is fungible. Others have children, dependents, illnesses – he would say, prioritize them when giving your time and money. But the future is uncertain, and any help is appreciated.
