Help Brianna Pay for Terminal Cancer

Brianna Lorine Tappe (Cerny) is 28 years old and was Diagnosed with Terminal Stage 4 Metastatic adenocarcinoma with signet ring cell features. Signet ring cell carcinoma (SRCC) is a rare poorly differentiated aggressive subtype of adenocarcinoma that most commonly arise from the gastrointestinal tract. It usually presents late and is associated with poor prognosis. She has a husband of 6 years, Ryan, and three beautiful children: the oldest Teresa(4), Patrick(3), and Leo (18months). She has lived in Chicago with her family the past year and has been in and out of the hospital attempting to discover what was wrong with her. When she was finally diagnosed, she decided to move back home to Pittsburgh to live with family. So her and her husband and kids have come home and packed themselves into an already very full house. Her husband was able to sell off the house and some other assets to try and prepare for all the bills to come.

Brianna is the oldest of 9 kids with most of her siblings still living at home. Her oldest daughter started preschool and the other two are at home all day, needing constant attention. Her entire abdomen is affected by the cancer. The cancer releases mucin and this mucin has filled all the space in her abdomen making it impossible to eat and use those organs. She is now living and getting all of her nutrients from TPN. This is a nutrition iv bag that goes directly into her bloodstream. She also has a tube in her stomach that pulls gas, pressure, and some fluids out into a waste bag. The survival rate for Brianna is 5% with chemo but the doctors are saying it is too late for the chemo to work. The doctors are saying 2 months left to live. Because of her age and being so young she is hoping to fight and beat the odds with alternative treatments. She needs the resources and money to be able to fight with alternative treatments. The money will also help in funding any of the necessary surgeries and any child care/ college funds for her 3 children.
