Help Brian’s family get him the care he needs.

Brian got shot by his friend by accident on his lower part of the chest. Thankfully, he got good first responders and they transported him to UNC Caldwell and from there he was flown to Charlotte. In here Brian is receiving a great care and they have a great team working with him. They did the procedure right away to stop the internal bleeding. His liver got affected. Right now we are waiting for a second and not the last surgery. After this one we are expecting two more surgeries. He is talking. He is in a lot of pain. And he is worried about his future, his job, his grades and his future career. While I am worried sick here thinking that all I want is having him home annoying me, He just worries about saving the world. Brian is 19 years old firefighter, EMT, full time college student, future candidate of the BLET and planning to pursue a criminal justice degree. He does have countless hours of volunteer work as a firefighter and I can’t say enough how proud I am. He is handsome, extremely charming, annoying, smart, very kind, and very hard headed. His family is with him in Charlotte and are planning to be there until he comes home.
