Help Bridget Learn to Fly

January 16th, 2021, Bridget took her first training flight with Fly San Diego Flight School.  Comments from the instructor noted Bridget as comfortable, confident, and delicate with the controls.  Bridget's enthusiasm and motivation to be a pilot are second to none! 

While serving as an Active Duty Sailor in the United States Navy in San Diego, CA she is also taking classes with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) working toward a degree in Professional Aeronautics while minoring in Electrical Engineering. 

Bridget's dream is to be a Pilot and a Commissioned Officer in the Navy.  Serving on Active Duty, working toward her degree on her own time and working toward her Private Pilot's License are all huge steps in obtaining this dream and very necessary. 

Tuition for ERAU has been covered thankfully through grants and hopefully Tuition Assistance through the Navy soon, but flight hours toward her Private Pilot's License are costly.  Please help me help Bridget keep her dream alive and keep her in the air as much as possible! 

The total of $9,000 for the fundraiser takes care of all instructor fees, equipment and flight hours that equate to her goal of earning that Private Pilot's License.  Having her Private Pilot's License completed prior to entering/applying to a commissioning source to become a Naval Officer will put her Nautical Miles ahead of the competition.
