Help Bright get a new Kidney

It sucks having to deal with Lupus but thanks largely to siblings and friends who do their best to support, my good friend Bright gets by daily despite her condition. My name is Kingsley and I am starting this Go Fund Me account with her permission and the funds will be going directly to her for her Kidney transplant and stabilizing her Lupus condition.

 

Bright's Lupus journey started in August 2016 when she was diagnosed with Systematic Lupus Erythematous - where the body's immune system attacks its tissues and organs. Over the course of 5 years, she has had to deal with butterfly rash, rheumatism, hypertension, chronic fatigue, anemia, pneumonia, and brain fog.

Two months after the SLE diagnosis, the condition escalated as she was then diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis - where lupus attacks the kidneys, whereby the kidneys begin to be inflamed, malfunction, and possibly leak protein and blood which could lead to kidney failure.

Sadly, Bright's kidneys started failing months ago in April 2021, leading to her being put on hemodialysis three times a week ever since. It hasn't been easy for her having to deal with lupus flares, high blood pressure, anemia, chest pain from fluid buildup and other complications but she's a fighter keeping her head up.

Then again, treatment for Lupus costs an arm and leg, more so now that she's got about three months to raise enough money to fund a kidney transplant and put the Lupus in a temporary dormant state as there is no known cure yet for Lupus. Therefore, I am here seeking your help to fund her treatment.
