Help Bring Alyssa Home for Memorial
Donation protected
Hi everyone.
Today is the hardest, worst day of my life. My daughter Alyssa went missing from a group treatment facility in early August and was found a few days later, dying, alone and with and with no ID. Positive ID did not happen until this morning, September 16th.
Her body is in another state and I am trying to raise funds to cover her cremation, my travel expenses to go retrieve her and, if possible, a small memorial service.
A brief history of Alyssa - Alyssa Denise Bosler was born 16 weeks early on October 28th, 2001, weighing just 1 lb 3 ozs.
Spending the next 2.5 months in an incubator in the NICU of Kosair Women's and Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, she was a fighter from day 1, and had a will to live like no other. Her mother and I basically living by her side.
In mid December she removed both her breathing and feeding tubes accidentally. Doctors reset her breathing tube but she started bottle feeding and never looked back.
By mid January she had grown and become strong enough to go home.
Growing up her biggest setbacks was poor vision due to ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) and anxiety attacks.
Later she was diagnosed with mental disorders that forced her into treatment facilities, which sadly became her final 'home".
We would like to honor Alyssa with a memorial service on what would have been her 23rd her birthday, October 28, 2024.
Please, if at all possible, help me bring my baby girl home to me.
Thank you.
