Help bring Audra (Charlie) peace.

My name is Kristeen. I'm the oldest of Audra's (Charlie's) three daughters.

My mom, where do I begin to describe her? Strong. That's the first word to pop up in my mind. Her strength is more powerful than Hercules himself. She has faced many hard times in her life and has always found a way to overcome them. Her strength is something that I have always admired about her. Courageous. To be a single mom raising three teenage hormoneal girls on her own—- that takes courage. Kind. She has always been so kind and helpful to anyone she meets. Caring. It doesn’t matter what she’s doing for someone else—- from giving a really good hair cut to making a paient feel safe—- she always does it with care and compassion. My mama is an all around beautiful soul. I can't help but to be proud of my mama.

If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting her, I'm sure you have a favorite memory. From her wild nights at the Draft House to a good laugh that was shared together or just her listening ear with out judgment. My mom has always been a good person.

She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 gastric cancer; it's aggressive and terminal. She has fought so hard against the cancer, but unfortunately, the cancer has taken over. Her fight has left her weak and she is now ready to leave the hospital and come home. This, unfortunately, means hospice. We, her daughters and mother, are doing everything we can to bring her home so she can be taken care of, in the company of her grand babies and her kitty, to be comfortable, and at peace.

This also means various expenses from medicine to medical supplies to getting her room safe and ready, and sadly, final expenses .

My family has never been one to ask for help. My mom always taught us to work hard just like her. But, right now, we are putting our pride aside and asking for help. This is a very difficult time for us. We are losing our mom. My Nana is losing her baby at such a young age.
