Help Us Rebuild El Chapala: A Community Treasure in Biltmore Village

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

I am reaching out to you during a time of profound heartache and hope. Our beloved family restaurant, El Chapala, a cherished staple of Biltmore Village for over 20 years, has been devastated by the recent hurricane. What once was a vibrant gathering place filled with laughter, the aroma of traditional food, and the warmth of our family’s passion for authentic Mexican cuisine now stands as a shell of its former self—flooded and battered.

For two decades, El Chapala has been more than just a restaurant; it’s a home away from home for many. It’s where families have celebrated birthdays, friends have gathered to catch up, and our community has come together to share not just meals but memories. Every dish served has been prepared with love, and every smile from our staff has been genuine.

But now, the storm has taken so much away from the flooding, and so much of what made El Chapala a beacon of joy in our community. The flooding destroyed or damaged most everything inside. We are heartbroken, but we refuse to lose hope.

We are asking for your help to rebuild not just our restaurant, but the heart of our community. The funds raised will go directly toward replacing kitchen equipment such as stoves, freezers, food, alcohol, electronics, tables, chairs, TV's, clean up and everything else that was lost in the storm. Your generosity will help us restore the vibrant atmosphere that El Chapala has always provided.

Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to reopening our doors and welcoming you back to the table where love and laughter are always served. Please consider sharing our story, spreading the word, and supporting our journey to rebuild.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, love, and kindness. Together, we can bring El Chapala back to life and continue creating the beautiful memories that have defined our restaurant for so many years.

With gratitude,

Family of El Chapala
