Help bring Brian Palmer home

Donation protected
https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/brianpalmer3 In June 2020 Brian Palmer, a Bennington resident, was involved in an ATV accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Since that time Brian has been working on his medical rehabilitation at the hospital and Quality Living rehabilitation center. He isn’t able to walk on his own yet but has been making great progress.  He has been away from his wife and children for 7 months. Because of covid there have been very limited visits with his wife Amanda and their 2 children.  The great news is he may be coming home to his family in April! This is where our help is needed. Brian was the primary breadwinner for the family. Amanda needs to sell Brian’s truck in order to buy a wheelchair accessible van. The garage door to the house needs to be widened and adaptations need to be made at their house before he can come home.  Any donations are appreciated to help with the cost of the new van and the construction needed for the house.  Brian is a devoted husband and father, an Army veteran who served in Iraq and a member of Local 464 Steamfitters and Plumbers Union. Let’s do what we can to bring him home to his family! Thank you.
