Help Bring Daisy Moo Home to Scotland

While I was on holiday in Cyprus, a little girl choose me to be her cat daddy and I couldn't say no, she stole my heart and now I need to bring her home so that I can give her a wonderful life where she does not have to worry no more.

Daisy is full of love and came straight up to me on day one. I could see that she was very dirty, had drool from her mouth and was a bit smelly and extremely skinny that you can feel nothing but bone on her body. She was cautious at first staying outside of the apartment giving me little hello meows but as soon as I started to clap her she didn't leave my side. I was concerned about the drool thinking it could be calicivirus but thought she needed food in her above anything else. As I arrived quite late on the first day, I didn't have the chance to get to the shops to get Daisy some cat food so she only got some attention that night.

The next day I got Daisy some food which she did eat some but half way through eating she let out a huge yelp and ran outside, she did come back in again but couldn't eat anymore. Her mouth was causing her a lot of pain and she did not like your hand anywhere near her mouth. Over the next few days I tried different methods of feeding her but she couldn't even though you could tell she wanted too. Also to help with her dirty coat, I wetted paper towels and wiped them on her which she purred her heart off.

There were other cats in the area around the apartment and they all looked healthy and well fed, I did find Daisy with them at onetime and the other cats was hissing and hitting her. It broke my heart thinking if I leave she would continue not to eat, suffer with what condition she may have and not even having friends around her with the other cats, I knew I need to take care of her.

I arranged with a vet for her to be seen and capturing her was an experience! but managed to get her in the cat carrier and be seen by the vet. The vet said it wasn't calicivirus but tooth and gum mouth ulcers that was causing her the pain and on 12th October she had treatment to make her better.

I have arranged with a cat sanctuary that when she's finished her treatment that they will take her in and arranged for her passport and flight to the UK, the estimated cost for this is £500.

If you can, please donate so Daisy can have a family in Scotland – the family she chose for herself. If you can’t donate please consider sharing our story, across social media the more likely we are to succeed.

Thank you
David
